2023 The Craftsman NASCAR Truck Series announces a new sponsorship with Ferris mowers

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team Halmar Friesen Racing recently announced its new partnership with Ferris Mowers. The team brings the No. 52 Toyota Tundra TRD driven by Stuart Friesen into the Rookie Series. The official announcement that the two organizations were joining came last week on Thursday, as representatives from both parties gathered to do so.

39-year-old Canadian-American driver Stuart Frissen will be seen sporting a livery inspired by Ferris mowers for the 2023 season. NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on six occasions. Beginning their partnership at Texas Motor Speedway on April 1, 2023, both organizations plan to join forces until the race at the Milwaukee Mile on August 27, 2023.

Representatives from Briggs & Straton, the manufacturers of Ferris Mowers, along with representatives from the Halmar Friesen Racing team, met last week to make the official announcement. Christine Wham, Chief Marketing Officer, Briggs & Stratton, said:

“We are excited to expand our involvement with the racing community this year by partnering with HFR, Stewart Friesen and the No. 52 truck. Given that race car drivers and park contractors alike are always looking for the best possible ride, the partnership makes sense.”

Stewart Friesen is also looking forward to the partnership, with the Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada native stating:

“I look forward to representing Ferris mowers nationally in the NASCAR Craftsmen Truck Series and on Ferris home turf at Northeast Modified events. As someone who mows a lot of territory at home when I’m not racing, I look forward to the smooth ride and superior quality of the Ferris mower. Everyone at HFR are excited to welcome Friese to our team, and we look forward to a successful 2023 season.”

The officials also dedicated the partnership to the late Bill Shea, a Ferris Maures executive whose brainchild was sponsoring the Halmar Friesen Racing team.

The ARCA Menards Series will kick off its 2023 season with its annual pre-race practice at Daytona End of this week.
