Aidan Shaw is back in the Sex And The City franchise as actor John Corbett holding hands with Sarah Jessica Parker while filming And Just Like That.. Season 2 in NYC on Friday.

The actor, 61, looked as handsome as ever when he stepped out with Sarah, 57, who played on-and-off sweetheart Carrie Bradshaw — 13 years after playing the loveable furniture designer in the much-mocked 2010 movie, Sex and the City 2.

John looked dapper in a black blazer and purple leggings, and sported longer tresses as he strolled through Manhattan with SJP.

The fashion designer, best known for her character as the kind-hearted Aidan on the series by the charming and arrogant John James Preston, AKA Mr Big in a fuchsia pink shirt dress and wrap, caught the eye.

SJP also wore charming velvet boots and a tartan jacket, with her tresses styled in soft waves.

John isn’t wearing a wedding ring in the publicity stills – which seems to indicate that his character Aidan is no longer with his on-screen wife Cathy.

Aidan’s latest viewers are back again in Sex And The City 2, when he and Carrie unexpectedly cross paths in Abu Dhabi.

The couple arrange to meet for dinner – despite Charlotte’s warnings that Carrie was “playing with fire” – and share a secret kiss after flirting with the appetizers.

Fans were shocked when formerly loyal Aidan cheated on his furniture designer wife Kathy — with whom he has sons Tate, Homer and Wyatt.

Consumed with guilt, Carrie abandons Aidan at his hotel, and quickly tells her husband Peg, who ghosts her, before presenting her with a black diamond engagement ring.

She later tells Charlotte that the kiss made her realize how, “desperate, needy and chasing a man who didn’t want me” she was – a reference to Paige’s toxic and luminous behavior towards her in Seasons Six and the first movie, where he dumps her,

John portrayed Carrie’s ex-boyfriend and then fiancé in Seasons 3 and Season 4 of the hit HBO series.

The couple first met at his furniture store before entering a romance that left Carrie ‘horrified’ by how smoothly their relationship was going.

Later, she had a three-week affair with Mr. Big – then married the much younger Natasha Naginsky – before breaking up with her and telling a heartbroken Aidan, who promptly dumped her.

In Season 4, they meet again at the opening of Aidan and Steve Brady’s bar, Scout, with Carrie begging a disapproving Aidan for another chance.

After they reignite their romance after a passionate one-night stand, her refusal to cut Big out of her life puts a strain on the romance.

A smitten Aidan later proposed to an unsure Carrie, who accepted but only wore her engagement ring on a chain around her neck.

Their romance ended once and for all in Season 4 as she admitted that she was not ready to marry Aidan.

He is last seen in Season 6, when he is accosted by Carrie and his infant son, and Aidan reveals that he married a fellow furniture designer.

And Just Like That… followed Carrie’s journey as she moves on with her life after the death of her true love Big – leaving the way open for her to reignite her romance with Aidan.

She was last known to be dating her podcast producer Franklin.

In 2021, when the first season of the Sex And The City sequel was in the works, the actor teased that he would be in a reboot. However, to the fans’ dismay, he did not appear in any of the episodes.
