Apple and Major League Soccer have revealed the season ticket broadcasters for MLS
Apple and Major League Soccer today announced the initial team of announcers who will serve as the faces and voices MLS Season Passthe unprecedented subscription service launched on February 1 on the Apple TV app in more than 100 countries and regions.
MLS Season Pass Features live streams and replays of every NBA regular season game, 2023 MLS Audi Cup, and League Cup – all in one place with consistent match times and no blackouts. It will also include pre-game screenings, a comprehensive show that provides live footage from every game and features discussion of all the key moments, as well as a post-game wrap-up to close each night. learn more
All matches will feature commentary in either English or Spanish, while matches involving Canadian teams will feature French commentary. Pre-match and post-match presentations will be available in both English and Spanish. Fans in the US and Canada will also have the option to select their home team’s radio to stream audio on the Apple TV app where available. learn more

Kendra St. Louis Open She has been in the broadcasting industry since completing her collegiate football career in Minnesota in 2003. She has been part of the FOX Sports family since 2011, having worked two FIFA Women’s World Cups in 2015 and 2019. She has spent the past five years as a television analyst for Team Minnesota United.
Maurice Eddo, a member of the 2010 USA World Cup team that played 12 seasons in MLS and Europe, has spent the past five years as an analyst at FOX Sports. He has also called Atlanta United games for the past two seasons and provided football commentary for CBS Sports.
Laurie Lindsay She played 14 professional seasons and was a member of the 2011 US Women’s World Cup Team before working as a soccer analyst for ESPN and CBS Sports. She also worked as a sideline reporter for Nashville SC.
Daniel Slaton, who earned a silver medal at the 2000 Olympic Games and bronze at the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup as a member of the US Women’s National Team, has served as a television game analyst for the past 13 years. In 2018, she made history as part of the first women’s broadcast team to cover one of the five major men’s sports leagues in the United States, joining Lisa Pennington and Katie Witham on FOX Sports’ broadcast of D.C. United vs. the New England Revolution.
Taylor Twellman, a former MLS and US National Team player, joined the MLS Season Pass after spending the past 11 years as a lead soccer analyst for ABC and ESPN. During his playing career, he was one of the most prolific scorers in MLS history, scoring 101 goals in 174 games for New England. He was the fastest player ever to reach the 100-goal plateau until fellow freshman MLS Season Pass, Bradley Wright-Phillips (159), surpassed the mark.
Marcelo Balboa, a former U.S. national team defender and member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame, became the first American player to break the 100-player milestone in 1995. After retiring in 2002, he went into broadcasting, where he was lead analyst for ESPN/ABC’s coverage of the 2006 World Cup. Part of Univision’s Major League Soccer coverage and international soccer coverage since 2014, he’s spent the last 15 years calling Colorado Rapids games for Altitude TV. Balboa joins the team as a Spanish-language analyst.
Sebastian Cough He joined MLS Season Pass as a French Analyst after working as a Studio Analyst for the Philadelphia Union’s PHL 17 coverage for the past four seasons. Rennes, the Frenchman, enjoyed an 11-year MLS career, including six years with Philadelphia, where he became the club’s first superstar in 2010.
Sasha KljestanAfter retiring from the Los Angeles Galaxy, he joined MLS Season Pass as a studio analyst. A former member of the US Men’s National Team, Kljestan played 13 seasons in MLS, earning two All-Star bids (2008, 2016). He was a member of the US Olympic Team in 2008. Most recently, Kljestan served as a host and digital analyst for Fox Sports’ coverage of the 2022 World Cup.
Bradley Wright Phillips, who began his football career with Manchester City, spent nine seasons in MLS (2013-21), won two MLS Golden Boot awards and was the sixth-leading scorer (117) in league history. He will make his debut as a studio analyst in the spin-off.
Diego Valerie, the 2017 MLS Player of the Year and 2015 MLS Cup MVP, is the all-time leading scorer in Portland Timbers history. He was a four-time All-Star and led the Timbers to the 2015 MLS Cup title. He will make his live debut as a Spanish-language studio analyst.
Liam McHugh, who played football at the University of Buffalo, will serve as the host of the weekly show that will cover all the important moments from every game. He currently leads the NHL coverage for Turner Sports after serving in the same role NHL on NBC for 10 years. He was the main host of NBCSN, covering the Premier League, college football, college basketball, and the Tour de France. It was also part of NBC Sports’ coverage of Sunday Night Football and Notre Dame battling Irish football.
Gillian Sakovits He joins the team as the pre-game studio host. She has spent the past four years covering Atlanta United as the pre-game and post-game host for FOX Sports South and has also been a sideline reporter for ESPN’s soccer coverage.
Tony Sharkywho has covered soccer extensively for ESPN, Univision, and Tubi, including several World Cup tournaments, will serve as Spanish-language studio host and analyst on select matches throughout the season.
Max Britus He comes to the MLS Season Pass after spending the past five years as the play-by-play voice for the Los Angeles Football Club. He previously hosted coverage of MLS, play-by-play for ESPN, and was the lead football announcer on FOX Sports from 2003 to 2010.
Steve Kangalosi He joins the team after taking over play-by-play duties for the New York Red Bulls on MSG for 21 years and the New Jersey Devils for 12 years. His extensive soccer playing background also includes the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Olympic Games for NBC, as well as calling MLS, Serie A, La Liga, DFB Pokal, and Bundesliga games for ESPN, FOX Sports, and SiriusXM.
Jake Zeven He has spent the past seven years as the popular TV voice of the Portland Timbers, for which he has received three Emmy Awards. He’s also been a fixture on FOX Sports’ soccer coverage, calling MLS, Copa America, SheBelieves Cup, CONCACAF Champions League, and CONCACAF Olympic Qualifiers.
Pablo Ramireza former goalkeeper born in Jalisco, Mexico, is one of the most popular Spanish TV presenters and has helmed Univision’s soccer coverage for the past 22 years, including MLS and four World Cups.
Frederick Lord She will be one of the main theatrical voices in French broadcasting. He has handled the playing duties for CF Montreal for TVA Sports since the club’s MLS inception in 2012.
