Art dealer Hunter Biden praises his first son, says his view is “absolutely necessary” as the probes heat up
First on the fox: Art dealer Hunter Biden said Thursday that the first son “will become one of the most important artists of this century” as House Republicans demand more information from the New York City gallery owner as part of their broader investigation into Biden family.
“The Chair of the House Committee on Reform and Oversight in the 118th Congress of the United States of America this week issued a letter to the George Burgess Gallery with certain requests,” George Burgess told Fox News Digital in an email.
“At the moment I cannot comment and will refer you to my legal counsel, but know that my individual focus has always been and will be on the integrity of our artists and the privacy of our art collectors,” he said.
Fox News Digital reported on Wednesday that Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, sent a letter to Burgess demanding that he turn over all communications between his gallery and the White House regarding a reported deal to withhold all records of prices and end-purchasers of Biden’s art.

“You have announced that Hunter Biden’s latest artwork ranges in price from $55,000 to $225,000. It is about President Biden’s son being the recipient of anonymous, high-dollar transactions — potentially from foreign buyers — without any (other) accountability or oversight,” he wrote. Comer to Burgess. “The American people deserve transparency regarding certain details about Hunter Biden’s expensive technical dealings. We believe you have important information related to this investigation.”
Burgess defended Hunter Biden Art in a statement to Fox News Digital, saying the beleaguered first son has a “personal story” to tell through his art.
“Nearly 10 years ago I opened a gallery that has a global perspective on the human experience and seeks to find artists who I feel will be important not only in the art world but in wider culture,” he said. “Artists relevant to the times, not esoteric circles where art and exhibitions come unnoticed by society, people and culture, but innovative, relevant artists and exhibitions that challenge and engage us.”
“I represent Hunter Biden because I feel his art is not only worthy of my depiction, but because his personal narrative, which generates his art, is in great demand in the world,” Burgess continued. “His story is one of perseverance; Hunter’s story reflects what I believe is the beauty of humanity, not by being judged by falling, but by having the strength to rise, by having the character required for change and the courage to do so. Hunter Biden’s art reflects all of that and more. His art gives us hope; he reminds us That tomorrow brings a new day, a new beginning, and a new possibility.”
He added, “Hunter Biden will become one of the most important artists of this century because the world needs his art now more than ever.” “In a world that defeats us, we need art in our lives that reminds us of the unrelenting God within each of us.”

Hunter Biden, China, Classified Documents: Mysterious Rings Around Ben Biden Center
Fox News Digital previously reported that Burgess has Long-term relations with China He said in 2015 that he wanted to be “the leading man in the art world in China”.
Kummer responded to that comment on Wednesday, telling Fox News Digital that “foreign adversaries, including China, have used transactions involving bogus art sales to launder money and evade US-imposed sanctions.”
“For decades, Hunter Biden wielded influence and access to his father and engaged in shady business dealings with foreign adversaries around the world,” Kummer said. “Given Hunter’s history of shady activity, it is deeply concerning that the President’s son continues to sell his amateur artwork to anonymous buyers at exorbitant prices.”
He continued, “Hunter’s art dealer, Burgess, has made it clear that he intends to be the ‘chief man’ in China for art.” “Why would a Hunter pay top dollar for arguably worthless goods? It’s not Pablo Picasso. As Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, I will continue to push for transparency and answers so the American people can get a sense of who is buying Hunter art.”

Republican Representatives Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Paul Gosar of Arizona and Clay Higgins of Louisiana, all on the House Oversight Committee, said they strongly support the investigation. Hunter Biden Art sales.
“Hunter Biden’s finger plates are clearly not worth $500,000 apiece,” Boebert told Fox News Digital. “His clients weren’t buying art, they were buying access. Who those buyers were and what access they got is something the American people absolutely deserve to know—especially if it turns out that the art was purchased from friends of George Burgess at the CCP.”
“I strongly support an investigation into what appears to be open and notorious corruption and possible bribery of Joe Biden through minuscule payments for no-show jobs, amateur ‘art’ and other money laundering tactics,” Gosar told Fox News Digital. “The integrity of our government is too important to allow Ukraine or China to openly bribe our elected officials with subterfuge with payments to members of the Biden family.”
“We will investigate everyone involved with the Biden crime family,” Higgins said. “We’re looking at 148 reports of suspicious activity issued by federally insured banks, money laundering, and corrupt interactions with China. Oversight investigations will reveal deep, uncomfortable truths. If someone goes to jail, so be it.”
The show’s website says it’s currently “under maintenance,” and the Hunter Biden webpage has been taken down in recent days.
