Busch Light is giving fans a $2 million prize if Kevin Harvick wins the Daytona 500 | WJMN
(what) — Longtime NASCAR sponsor Anheuser-Busch is offering its fans a chance to win $2 million if a legendary driver wins the 2023 Daytona 500.
The beer brand rallies racing fans to cheer NASCAR Cup Champion Kevin Harvick Who they think has what it takes to win the Great American Race. The company said they were so confident he would win, they donated $2 million to one lucky fan who votes for Harvick as the favorite to win.
Fans who are 21 years of age or older can enter the competition online by visiting busch.com/winthepurse. The promotion began Friday, January 13th and will remain open until Saturday, February 18th.
Busch Light has been a sponsor of Harvick for over seven years and has previously offered numerous promotions to fans including the chance to get a real job on the Harvick racing team, converting one of Harvick’s race cars into collectible Busch Light cans and allowing fans to choose a race name NASCAR.

“Our relationship with Kevin has extended far beyond what we thought possible even as a NASCAR sponsor,” said Kristen Stowe, chief marketing officer at Anheuser-Busch. “We want to go big in his final season and rally his fans to support him in his last outing at the Daytona 500, starting the most explosive season of his career. We’ll be right next to him, Busch’s cold lights ready at Victory Lane all season.”
Harvick will step into his No. 4 Ford Mustang to compete in his last competition at the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 19. He announced his retirement from NASCAR on Thursday, January 12, and will end his career at the conclusion of the 2023 season.
“There are many factors that go into building a successful career like the one I’ve had, but without a doubt, the support of my fans has been something I never would have done without,” said Harvick. Now for my last race at Daytona, there really is no better gesture than to let those who helped get me here share in the wins. I am grateful to Busch Light for stepping up and making that possible.”
Harvick, also known by his nickname “The Closer,” won the Daytona 500 in 2007 taking the checkered flag edging veteran driver Mark Martin in line. At the time, Harvick was driving for Richard Childress.
After Harvick began driving for Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014, he went on to win other Crown Jewels races and won his only Cup Series championship that same year. However, he has not returned to victory lane in the Daytona 500 since 2007.
