CT lawmakers are likely to address children’s mental health in the 2023 session

Supporting children’s mental health may be a topic in the committees dealing with children’s issues this session, as a continuation of the work of legislators in the last session with the passage of Three sweep bills Focus on children’s mental health.

The education and children’s commissions intend to focus on mental health, as well as other issues, including more support for teachers and preventing sexual offenses against children, the commission’s leadership and advocates said Tuesday.
