Rehearsals are now taking place for the upcoming Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, starring the Tony and Grammy-nominated multi-platinum recording artist. Josh Groban (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812) and Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford (Sunday in the Park with George). Check out the pair’s new artwork below!

The original Broadway production of Sweeney Todd was the winner of eight 1980 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book, Best Musical and Best Direction for Hal Prince. The film’s London premiere won the 1980 Olivier Award for Best Musical.
The historical musical by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler tells the story of a resourceful pastry shop owner and a vengeful blood barber. Fired by a corrupt judge, Sweeney returns to London years later in search of his long-lost family, forming an unlikely partnership with Mrs. Lovett, who serves pies under his former shop. Together, they wreak havoc on Fleet Street serving the hottest – and most disturbing – pies in London.
