Katherine Dennis confirms she is leaving Southern Charm after a road trip that lasted eight seasons

This week, Kathryn Dennis confirmed that she will not be returning to Southern Charm for the ninth season of the Bravo reality show.

Previously, insiders told RadarOnline that she hasn’t been offered a new contract or may have made the decision to pass on next season.

An interesting note is that Katherine shared a fancy photo of herself on Instagram last Thursday with the caption: “Southern Charm starts production today.”

However, the photo of herself wearing a pink fur coat and sitting in a car has the caption edited to say, “I don’t know about you but I feel like 2023~ my New Year’s resolution is to have more hope and channel my grace” [prayer hands, two hearts emojis]”.

She posted another photo to Instagram on Thursday, this time with a quote from Octavia Butler: “In order to rise from her ashes, the phoenix must first burn.”

Southern Charm is a reality series that chronicles the personal and professional lives of several socialites who reside in Charleston, South Carolina.

If Katherine has indeed moved on from the show, it comes a year after more major life changes.

Back in November 2021, she and Chlip Ravenel went ‘their separate ways’ as a season 8 episode of Southern Charm that aired in July showcased the breakup of their romance.

The two eventually divorced due to Katherine’s custody battle with ex-husband Thomas Ravenel, although they both had different explanations for why the relationship didn’t work out.

After the argument shown in the previous episode, Katherine attempts to lower the temperature by cooking a meal for Schlip and inviting him to dinner.
