Kelly Ripa throws husband Mark Consuelos under the bus by sharing comments he made during childbirth

life! With Kelly And Ryan, the co-host was responding to an Instagram post shared by an influencer Amanda Hirsch that asked people: “What’s one thing your partner said or brought to the hospital that really helped you through your birth experience?”

While many moms posted a long list of supportive comments and gestures their co-workers made or said to them in their time of need, Reba joined Hirsch and several other women who shared funny tales of their husbands dropping them during the hours of childbirth.

Hirsch, 34, kicked off her Instagram post by revealing several amusing responses her man made like, “Are you done?” (for me after contractions) and “my stool is really uncomfortable.”

The actress, host and social media star went on to say that her husband actually told her “I’m so tired” during labour.

Reba, 52, was quick to chime in and add a few in the comments section of Hirsch’s post.

“Do you mind if I eat?” Ripa recalled Conseculus asking her during one of her births.

The mother-of-three also maintained that her husband told her, “I’m going to the batting cages because you’ll be here for a while” before one of her births.

Ripa didn’t elaborate on any of the births of their three children that Consuelos suggested he take a break and go hit some baseballs.

The couple, who will celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary this May, are parents to sons Michael, 25, and Joaquin, 19, and daughter Lola, 21.

Some other commenters offered recollections of giving them multiple foods and drinks that included one woman getting “postpartum jalapeño margaritas” from her significant other, and who added, “I highly recommend.”

Then there were the head-scratches that left many of the respondents annoyed by some of the men in the world.

She wrote, “For our first child, he was filling out papers and when he asked for Daddy’s full name, he said ‘Baby, what’s Daddy’s full name’, you’re little daddy.”

Right before I started pushing: “It’s okay if you poop, you got my pants when I was 23,” wrote another soon-to-be mom, while another quoted her husband as saying: “Going into the operating room for a C-section.” … “So you’ll just give up.”

One mom shared how her labor and delivery experience actually marked the end of her relationship with the father of her child.
