Meghan Good has been promoting the new season of her Amazon TV series Harlem, revealing that co-star Whoopi Goldberg was instrumental in helping her break up.
Judd, 41, was married to film producer Devon Franklin for 10 years until they divorced in December 2021, and the divorce finalized in June 2022.
Good appeared on Goldberg’s daytime talk show The View on Tuesday, praising her co-star for helping her through a difficult time.

When asked what she learned from the split, Good began, “I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’ve reinvented myself in so many ways.”
“I have to say again, Whoopi was very effective with that, because we had some really good conversations that I needed to have that were enlightening for me and opened my eyes,” Judd said.
Jed added, “It’s exciting for me, low key, you know, I feel like I’m starting my life over in some ways and having a shot at whatever’s supposed to be next.”

Judd began acting when she was just four years old, with her first movie in the 1995 classic Friday Friday, in which she played one of the few kids in an ice cream truck.
Since many child stars don’t always get on so well, Good was asked how she managed to have such a successful career while starting out so young.

She added, “For me, it’s always been important to make sure I use my platform for something bigger than a celebrity or whatever.”

Judd was asked if it was true that she met Goldberg 30 years ago, and she says it was, because she was a background extra on the 1991 film Soapdish.
When asked what it’s like working with Goldberg now, Good simply said, “Amazing.”
