The inaugural event schedule for the ASA STARS National at Five Flags has been released

The schedule of events has been released for the inaugural ASA STARS National Tour race at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. Officials announced today regarding the event structure for the 200-lap late model pavement competition on Saturday, March 11, 2023, which is also part of the ASA Southern Super Series.

Event tickets are available online by visiting https://bit.ly/ASA5FlagsTixs.

“I have vivid memories of being in the pits at Montgomery Motor Speedway in 1981 for the inaugural All Pro Series race. There was something really special that night,” said Tim Bryant, promoter of Five Flags Speedway. On the 11th of Marchy, I think we will return the same feeling. This could be a massive short track racing event and we humble ourselves to choose Five Flags Speedway to host it.”

Saturday’s kick off of the ASA All Stars National Tour will include practice, qualifying and the main event. Pavement Super Late Models will also join the Outlaw’s Five Flags Speedway division on the racing card.

The event also includes practice sessions available to teams on Friday, March 10th while the track holds competition for two local teams, the Pure Stock and Sportsman classes. Scheduled tech times are also open to teams on Fridays by appointment only.

The ASA STARS National Tour will launch in 2023 for Super Late Model racing in America. Announced in October, many of America’s top drivers are expected to compete in the 10-race National Tour with at least 100,000 points funded. The tournament team will be guaranteed $25,000.

The National Series consists of three races each of the regional Super Late Model Series under the Track Enterprises banner. ASA CRA Super Series, ASA Midwest Tour, and ASA Southern Super Series.

Winner’s Circle will also be part of the ASA National Tour for licensed drivers/teams with exemplary attendance. Program details will be announced at a later date, but they will be in the same vein as the ASA used it in its heyday.

Track Enterprises, an Illinois-based Racing Promotions company, will operate the ASA STARS National Tour. It announced its acquisition of the CRA Sanctioning Authority in January and followed that up with the purchase of the Midwest Tour in July. In October, Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent announced a partnership with the schedule-setting Southern Super Series to form the ASA STARS National Tour.
