The 2023 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas just ended, and as we saunter into the tech world, automakers have made sure to tell us they want to be a major driver in this space, revealing a host of new vehicles and innovations at the show.

After I realized Showcase a myriad of dazzling new things for automakersindulge in these snippets that the good internet tuned in to during the show.

Let’s start with the most unique vehicle of CES 2023, AFEELA, a joint venture between Sony and Honda. (And one we didn’t all make again.) Yeah, it looks cool. Yes, collaborations like this help cut costs for companies while maintaining intrigue. However, we show that the name isn’t all that great. Memorable, but not great.

Sony and Honda explain that “Afeela expresses an interactive relationship where people feel mobility as an intelligent entity, and mobility individuals and society feel the use of sensor technologies and networked information technology.” They should have called it “PS Drive” if you ask us.

Also revealed at CES 2023: BMW’s i Vision Dee, where “Dee” stands for “Digital Emotional Experience”, a car that can change colors at the touch of a button. (It seems to be the new thing this year.) Even more impressive, it can turn a windshield into a full screen for augmented reality (AR).
