to update: 23XI Racing announced today that the team will field a third car for the Daytona 500 with racing legend Travis Pastrana driving the No. 67 Black Rifle Coffee Company Toyota Camry TRD. The race will be Pastrana’s inaugural entry in the NASCAR Cup Series and again for him in a stock car at Daytona. With a career in motorsports spanning nearly 25 years, Pastrana has competed in countless racing series, ranging from supercross to motocross to rally racing, in addition to her beginnings in NASCAR. Along with experience in the K&N Pro Series, Pastrana has 42 starts in the Xfinity Series and five starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, most recently competing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the fall of 2020. During his impressive career, the star athlete won seven racing championships. supercross, motocross, and rally, and claimed 11 gold medals in the motorcycle and motorsport events at the X Games.

After years of competing in rally racing, Pastrana recently created the Nitro RallyCross Series in 2018. Now in its fourth season, Pastrana is the series champion.

“I am thrilled with the opportunity to race the Daytona 500,” said Travis Pastrana. “It’s one event every year that all my friends and family gather to watch at our friend Dale’s house and it’s one I’ve wanted to race my whole life. My first Supercross win came in Daytona when I was 16, and I qualified third at Daytona for the Xfinity Series in 2013 This race didn’t end well, but I managed to finish 10th despite the fact that I crossed the finish line backwards through the grass of the infield at 180 mph. Trying to win one of the few remaining places in qualifying for the biggest race I’ve ever had the chance to compete in. In it it will not be an easy task, but I am confident that the 23XI team will give me a car that belongs in the show and I truly believe I have the skills to make it happen.It was very important for me to do my best and I am delighted to be doing this endeavor with the 23XI Toyota team.They are always Competitive at breakneck speed, so I know we’ll be strong when we get to Daytona.All of my long lost friends, family, and relatives of mine plan to be there and I look forward to sharing this moment with all of my Black Rifle Coffee fans and associates company also”.
